Tally Virtual User (TVU) License
Every user accessing TallyPrime through a virtual setup — Tally on Cloud, RDP, Citrix, or similar technology — needs authorised access under the Tally Virtual User policy. A limited number of virtual users come free with your existing Tally license; anyone beyond that needs a paid TVU license.
This applies whether you’re already running Tally virtually or are just planning the move from an on-premise setup to the cloud.

How Many free Tally Virtual Users are included?
TallyPrime Single User includes 1 free TVU, Multi-User includes 10 free TVUs, and TallyPrime Server users receive an additional 20 free TVUs. These free entitlements are provided as part of the standard Tally licensing structure and reduce the number of paid TVU licenses required.
What is the cost of additional TUV License?
If the number of virtual users exceeds the free entitlement, additional Tally Virtual Users are charged at ₹225 per user per month, billed annually. This pricing applies only to users beyond the included free TVU count and is defined under Tally’s virtualisation licensing policy.
